Crash Mats



Crash mats (also known as safety mats) are suitable for protection from landing and 

tumbling and for general PE, gymnastic, sports & leisure activities.
 
The mats are lightweight, flame retardent and available in a wide variety of standard sizes, 

with custom made sizes also available.
Our crash mats/safety mats have high quality foam inners, hard wearing loose covers, 

and feature a non-slip base.
The mat inner is made from flame retardent soft polyethylene foam. The outer cover is 

heavy duty sewn nylon reinforced PVC, complete with a zip to allow replacement of the 

cover if it becomes damaged.
The mats also feature carry handles, mesh breather holes to expel air when landed on 

and toggles to join several mats together.
Module A and B mats can be used individually as indoor gymnastics mats, or combined 

& covered to form a high jump landing area.
Extra heavy duty covers are available for most mats (in blue and yellow PVC coated nylon). 

Canvas covers are also available for some mats.

School Gym Mats



School gym mats are standard weight safety mats, ideal for general floor exercise for 

sports & leisure use including PE & gymnastics, and are available in a wide variety of sizes.
 
The mats can be used in schools, gyms, fitness classes or at home.
They have a flexible 9lb chip foam core, bonded PVC covers with welded corners, a latex 

anti-slip base and are flame retardant. 
School gym mats are available in blue, red or black. Please specify colour when ordering.



Mats are graded depending on their resilience for the following applications:

Lightweight Gym Mats



These gym mats are ideal where lightness is essential, as they are approximately half the 

weight of the deluxe gym mat equivalent and much easier to store due to their weight and 

rigidity (they do not collapse when stored vertically, or upright in a mat trolley). 
 
Lightweight gym mats are ideal for general sports & leisure floor exercise, including PE and 

gymnastics, in schools, gyms, fitness classes or at home.
They have PVC covers and a polyethylene foam core which gives a slightly harder feel with 

less rolling resistance, and are flame retardant.
Lightweight gym mats are available in blue, red or black. Please specify colour when ordering.

Blended Gym Mats



Blended gym mats use a special mixed foam core which helps reduce weight, and are suitable 

for sports, leisure, PE and gymnastics with jumping activities.
 
The foam core is in 2 layers, the top layer being 9lb chipfoam to provide a soft feel and the lower 

half being the stiffer but lighter polyethylene foam. This makes the mat more rigid and approximately 

3/4 the weight of the chipfoam equivalent, so they are easier to store and do not collapse when 

stored in a vertical mat trolley.
Blended gym mats are supplied in blue as standard. For red or black mats please contact us.

Multi Purpose Gym Mats



Multi purpose gym mats are ideal for use in schools, leisure centres and sports halls that require mats 

for a variety of uses, such as PE, gymnastics, martial arts and general exercise.
 
They can also be used for control and restraint purposes as used by the police, prisons and special 

national health services.  
They have a 12lb chip foam core, bonded blue PVC cover with welded corners, a latex anti-slip base 

and are flame retardant (0&5 composite test).
Multi purpose gym mats are supplied in blue, red or black. Please specify colour when ordering.

Agility Gym Mats



Heavyweight agility mats are ideal for rolling, tumbling, jumping and landing, and can be used for PE, 

gymnastics & general sport, leisure & exercise.
 
They have a 6lb chip foam core, bonded blue PVC cover with welded corners, a latex anti-slip base 

and are flame retardant. 
Longer mats (10' and above) can be used for creating floor areas and gym equipment runways. 

Long mats can be supplied with a tie strap to hold them in a roll when stored.
Agility mats are supplied in blue as standard. For red or black mats please contact us.

Linking Gym Mats



These gym mats have a 1" velcro strip bonded to the edges to allow them to be linked together to 

form a large padded area for gymnastics, PE and floor work.
 
They have blue PVC covers and a polyethylene foam core making the mats approximately half the 

weight of the deluxe gym mat equivalent, although with a slightly harder feel. 

The mats are easy to store due to their weight and rigidity as they will not curl up when stored vertically. 

These mats are flame retardant. 
 
Lightweight linking gym mats are supplied in blue as standard. For red or black mats please contact us.

Tumbling Mats



Play mats in 4 different colours, ideal for school, nursery, soft play and home use.
 
The mats are available in different sizes and weights, and have strong flame retardent PVC covers 

with either a lightweight flame retardent foam or medium weight recycled foam filling.

Junior Play Mat Set



Set of 4 mats in different colours which are ideal for schools, nurseries, soft play and home.
 
Each mat is made from a lightweight, easy to carry polyethylene core.
The covers are flame retardent and have zips for easy removal, with a water resistant wipe clean surface.
They have velcro edges on all 4 sides, so they can be linked together to form a larger play area.

Floor Area / Runway Mats



Large 12m x 2m mat rolls for use either as a gymnastic run-up mat, or side by side to make up a padded floor 

area for PE, gym, exercise and other sports.
 
The mats are 35mm thick and consist of a lightweight polyethylene core mat with a carpet surface and 

anti-slip base. They can be rolled up for storage and stacked or stored on a trolley.
When used as a floor area, velcro strips can be added to join the mats together.
 
Available colours: blue or yellow.
Weight per mat: 55kg
